Affiliate Disclosure

FreeDVDBoot.com is an unofficial, independent guide and mirror for the open-source FreeDVDBoot project by CTurt. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with Sony Interactive Entertainment or CTurt.

What affiliate links are

Some links on this site — including links that go through short addresses starting with /go/ — point to shops such as Amazon and eBay. If you buy something after clicking one of those links, the shop may pay this site a commission. That commission does not change the price you pay.

Current status of our links (please read)

Amazon product links on this site carry the Amazon Associates tracking tag oliver062-20, so a purchase made through them may earn this site a commission at no extra cost to you. Links are marked as sponsored in their link attributes. OneLink coverage for non-US Amazon locales has not been confirmed, so this site does not claim that the tag works in every country. The eBay link on the used-console buying guide does not yet carry partner tracking. Download links for the FreeDVDBoot ISO files are never affiliate links: the GitHub direct links go to CTurt’s public repository, and the Terabox links are honestly labelled mirrors.

How we choose products

Product recommendations on this site are tied to a specific problem: burning a disc, installing FreeMCBoot, replacing a worn laser, connecting a PS2 to a modern TV, or buying a used console with a compatible DVD Player version. Where a cheaper or local alternative works just as well (for example, any genuine DVD-R from a local shop), the guide says so. We do not recommend pre-installed FreeMCBoot memory cards for sale, modchips as a first choice, or any commercial game ISO or BIOS download.
